Cooler change

Adelaide, the rest of South Australia and Victoria, have just had five days of low to mid 40’s C heat. A heatwave! By the fifth day lightening strikes set off many fires, many still burning with loss of life and property. My blog is simply photos with a brief comment if any. Today has cooled down, so there is relief for us all (including flora and fauna), but especially for the volunteer firefighters. There is too much to say, so here is a simple photo of my current favorite flower, the Columbine (Aquilegia), this one with a pink blush. These flowers did not survive but the plants live on 🙂

  1. I know what you mean. Athens and Greece in general have the same situations each and every year. Heatwave and fires. Only thing is that our fires rarely come from lightnings.
