Harden NSW

Travelling back from Canberra, about 38 C. Harden is a one horse town (or should the modern-day equivalent be one coffee shop town), somehow spent some money on streetscaping. The locals (all three) are divided on that issue. Nice clouds though, and polarizing filter, no processing.

  1. Was this taken with the X100? The clouds look quite blown out (although I am viewing on a so-so screen right at the moment, so I might be totally wrong), in rather a point and shoot style. My experience is that polarisers are very good at keeping cloud highlights under control. Agreed though that a nice selection of heat clouds like these add a lot of interest to the sky.

Might be 38C there, but you’re not missing anything back here in Adelaide – peaked at 43.7C this afternoon.
