Dead trees, Nookamka Lake (Lake Bonney)

These trees stand near the shore. Gradual salting of the lake through run off of irrigated areas, and droughts – to name a few factors – have caused fish die offs and left these remnants. My photo shows a lake with water, check the link to local artist Nici Cumpstons images for a lake in drought.

  1. Lovely photos! Colors are very vivid and somehow dim the desolation effect of the dead trees.I wish sometime people will understand that without nature, mankind won’t exist and stop raping it.
