Tooo much to chose from, and so, because we delayed the Festival event we wanted to go and see – Jodi Savall – is booked out. But, he is also appearing at WomAdelaide, so there is hope.
On a scorching 40 degree day we did arrive at the Garden of Unearthly Delights to attend “Leo“. This is a very clever performance using a projection at 90 degrees so that whilst he is lying on the floor on the stage, the simultaneous projection shows him standing up. The show relates a story of waiting, thinking, experimenting, terror and release. In the tent, in sweltering heat, it was fascinating, but a little too long in those extreme conditions for both the audience and performer.
